As an Urban Analytics Support Engineer in the Denver office, you are the primary technical point of contact for customers deploying and using the Urban Strategy platform. You own the full support lifecycle — from collecting and transforming geospatial data during deployment, to training users and resolving incidents during active use. You combine deep customer focus with technical expertise, collaborating closely with development, data, and consulting teams to drive adoption and continuously improve the platform.

  • Collect, validate, and transform geospatial and urban data to meet platform specifications
  • Import data into the platform and configure analytical models
  • Validate model output and ensure data integrity throughout the deployment process

First-Line Application Support

  • Act as the primary point of contact for customer questions on usage, functionality, and licensing
  • Log, triage, and prioritize support tickets and incidents
  • Resolve common user issues and guide customers toward best practices
  • Deliver clear, timely, and professional communication to customers at all times

Second-Line Technical Support

  • Diagnose complex application, data, and performance issues in collaboration with engineering and data teams
  • Test and validate bug fixes, updates, and new platform releases
  • Support customer onboarding from a technical support perspective

Knowledge Sharing & Process Improvement

  • Maintain and expand support documentation, FAQs, and user guides
  • Identify recurring issues and propose product or process improvements
  • Help build and refine support workflows, tooling, and customer communication standards

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Data Science, GIS, Computer Science, or a related field

  • Familiarity with software platforms, data-driven applications, and digital tools
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer-first mindset
  • Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving
  • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment and helps build the processes around them
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a cross-functional team
  • Fluent in English
  • A valid US work authorization at the time of hire

Preferred

  • Experience with or strong interest in Digital Twins, GIS, urban data, or urban analytics
  • Familiarity with geospatial data formats and tools (e.g., QGIS, ArcGIS, PostGIS)
  • Local candidates in the Denver area are strongly preferred.
  • Dutch language skills are a plus
