Amsterdam in Motion celebrates the 750th anniversary of the city, discovering its history and potential future. Scenexus congratulates the city and contributes with Urban Strategy to interactively design a neighborhood and explore the impact of changes on the characteristics and livability of the area.
Amsterdam in Motion features the world’s largest multimedia maquette of a city and an exposition where visitors can explore specific themes in the city ranging from fashion, sports, history and urban design. By placing tiles on a projected neighbourhood, visitors can close parts of the infrastructure, place trees, add parks and sport facilities.
As a result, traffic is diverted and residents will experience and use public space in a new way. These digital residents can be interviewed to share their opinion and even the neighborhood cat and sparrow will share their thoughts.
