Helmond selects Scenexus predictive Digital Twin for interactive and integral decision making

City of Helmond (Netherlands) and Scenexus have signed an agreement in which Scenexus builds a Digoital Twin of Helmond and the surrounding area. This allows the municipality to quickly explore and develop various complex spatial scenarios itself. In the coming period, Helmond will investigate how the digital twin can be used as effectively as possible within its urban planning task.
In the context of the rapid economic developments in the Brainport region, Helmond also has a major task to build new homes. In this leap in scale and quality that we have to make, finding the right combination of residential locations, accessibility, infrastructure and sustainable living enjoyment is a challenging task. Housing, mobility, climate, energy supply and quality of life (including air quality and noise) are closely related.

Scenexus’ predictive digital twin, will support the municipality in the integrated exploration of various policy options and scenarios. Thanks to Scenexus’ advanced technology, complex plans can be calculated and visualized in a matter of minutes.

With this interactive way of working, we bring different policy areas together at an early stage, so that integrated policy consideration becomes more possible. This allows us to make faster and better decisions. This is important for policymakers and administrators, but certainly also for more active and insightful participation by and by residents and businesses.

For this collaboration, Scenexus takes care of the implementation, cloud environment, training, maintenance and support.
